I am an Assistant Professor at Hamilton College, where I work with students to study the ecology of plants and animals, including how they interact when habitats change.
Previously, I was a post-doctoral fellow in Holly Jones' lab (2019-2021). I completed my M.S. in Botany at Miami University in 2014, and I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin in 2019. Before entering grad school, I attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana where I studied biology and religion. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring undergraduates. When I'm not in the classroom or lab, I'm often in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, out on a jog, or binging whatever podcast or Netflix show caught my attention this week.
